For Immediate Release (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) March 21, 2018 - Attorney Frank Walker of Frank Walker Law, continues his service to the Pittsburgh Community by agreeing to serve as a sponsor for the 2018 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity - Iota Phi Foundation - 2018 Sylvester Pace HBCU College Tour.
Attorney Walker, who graduated from HBCU West Virginia State College (Now University), Marshall University and West Virginia University College of Law, understands the importance of exposing young men and women to the College environment early so students can make informed decisions about their future.
According to Walker, "some High School Students are painfully unaware
of the many colleges and
universities that may fit their needs and field of study. It's important
that kids are given an opportunity to assess these programs NOW instead
of trying to figuring it all out while stuck on a campus as a freshman
because of a last minute decision."
Walker also praised the local Iota Phi Chapter of his Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, for taking the time and effort to service the Pittsburgh Communities by giving up resources to carry on the torch once carried by the tour's namesake, Brother Sylvester Pace.
The 2018 Tour begins on March 23, 2018 and will vist a total of 13 Historical Black Colleges and Universities over the timespan of one week. The tour ends on March 31, 2018 and students will return to class with new experiences, lifelong friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
