An army veteran was facing charges of First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Third Degree Murder, Voluntary Homicide, Involuntary Homicide and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Defendant was a decorated Army Veteran, Husband and Father of three and was accused of shooting another man in the parking lot of a local grocery store in Washington, Pennsylvania.
The wife of the Defendant contacted our firm after the arrest and we represented the client at the Preliminary Hearing. At the Preliminary Hearing, all charges were held for court and the Defendant elected to have a jury trial.

Following jury selection and a three day jury trial, the Jury Acquitted the Defendant of all murder counts and manslaughter charges. The Defendant was released from jail within hours of the verdict after spending over 18 months awaiting trial.
